Major Barna might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Frans Snell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Major Barna ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marc Lagerberg got free with Fodor Daniel in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 15th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frans Snell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Marc Lagerberg put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fodor Daniel. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frans Snell having to interfere. In the 26th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frans Snell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Team Xtra personell booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Katona Janos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute, Andreas Olsson sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Hungary's Fodor Daniel didn't even have to move. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Hungary booed when Team Xtra personell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Oskar Odman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Balazs Lajos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frans Snell having to interfere. In the 44th match minute, Team Xtra personell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Oskar Odman to maneuver through the defense. Frans Snell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 47th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marc Lagerberg to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Team Xtra personell's Jim Brenner got a free kick in the 50th minute. In the 52nd minute, Antal Valentin made a precise shot to the right of Frans Snell. Team Xtra personell's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 55th match minute, Team Xtra personell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jim Brenner to maneuver through the defense. 57 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Frans Snell, 1-2. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Frans Snell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th match minute, Team Xtra personell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Oskar Odman to maneuver through the defense. When Team Xtra personell's Marc Lagerberg in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After having played for 89 minutes, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antal Valentin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antal Valentin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Frans Snell came out and tried to block the shot, but Antal Valentin slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 92nd minute. Hungary's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
