Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Aloisio Munet started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute Sander Dermaut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Grande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aloisio Munet scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Casper Claes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aloisio Munet who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Casper Claes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 12 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ian Grande narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sven-Erik Asserlind's late challenge caught a Belgium's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sven-Erik Asserlind helped the player get up and apologised. Belgium made a substitution. Alain Desmet replaced Siebe Michiels. After 22 played minutes R.B Leipzig got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Erik Asserlind. Belgium's Floris Claeys managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Simo Laht in the 24 minute of the game. Edward Vanderstraeten took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ian Grande. R.B Leipzig's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 31st minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Grande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to R.B Leipzig getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Simo Laht hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ian Grande narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Floris Claeys hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ian Grande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yves Dervaux, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ian Grande read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edward Vanderstraeten to strike the kick off in the second half. Ian Grande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 52nd minute of play. 52 minutes into the match, R.B Leipzig's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Ian Grande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Aloisio Munet came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the R.B Leipzig fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aloisio Munet couldn't finish the play. 56 minutes into the match, Aloisio Munet notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Belgium's Casper Claes. Casper Claes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aloisio Munet in the 60th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ian Grande made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 65th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belgium's supporters rose to their feet, but Edward Vanderstraeten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ian Grande breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, R.B Leipzig's Ian Grande got control of the ball when Yves Dervaux tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 80th minute, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ian Grande. Ian Grande yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Ian Grande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yves Dervaux in the 83rd minute of play. After some careless play in the R.B Leipzig defense, Yves Dervaux kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ian Grande. The R.B Leipzig fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ian Grande should have stopped the shot. Edward Vanderstraeten might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ian Grande. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Vanderstraeten ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Ian Grande in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 91 minutes of play, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ian Grande was left in no man's land by his defense there! The R.B Leipzig fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Belgium were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
