The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Leo Björling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 13th minute of the match. Gijsbert ter Kruimer struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Leo Björling didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gijsbert ter Kruimer struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Leo Björling didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. Leo Björling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Eikelkamp, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. A collision led to Bondeträsk FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Waclaw Brodzki hit a great ball. Leo Björling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 29th minute of the match. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Björling having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Bondeträsk FC's Gary Anderson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Iyan in the 35th minute of play. Arnout Reekers was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jose Iyan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 36 minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Bondeträsk FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Meesters came free, but Leo Björling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leo Björling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnout Reekers was left in no man's land by his defense there! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jose Iyan to make the kick off. Wim Wilmes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Leo Björling made a huge save. Leo Björling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 59th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Jose Iyan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnout Reekers was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. The Bondeträsk FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
