Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Germany's Frank Sachs started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Válbson Paiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 5th minute, Mazinho Barreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gelu Lepuș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 6th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Válbson Paiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Válbson Paiva sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Teodoro Lago kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. After 26 minutes, Mattias Downing mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cadu Team and the Germany players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th match minute, Cadu Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mattias Downing to maneuver through the defense. Germany's attentive Albin Holweck managed to snatch the ball when Mário Secco made a throw-in in the 28th minute of the game. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gelu Lepuș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 32nd minute of the match. After 34 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Chris Mergenthaler. Mattias Downing received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tommy Kahn came out and tried to block the shot, but Mattias Downing slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 36th minute. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Válbson Paiva in the 42nd minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

A sloppy throw-in by Chris Mergenthaler in the 51st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Cadu Team's Zézinho Paranaense. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Válbson Paiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Válbson Paiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cadu Team's Andre Barugh was substituted for Teodoro Lago. Mattias Downing took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Válbson Paiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Válbson Paiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Mattias Downing's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Válbson Paiva in the 84th minute of the match. Válbson Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cadu Team made a substitution. Hugo Alcântara replaced Mattias Downing.
