An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano Planovskiy in the 5th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriano Planovskiy in the 6th minute of the match. Flavio Vittori made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marian Radziszewski in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Gallo de Moron's goalkeeper Johnny Gobillot, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Italy getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Sostene Vitulli hit a great ball. In the 15th minute of the match Rios Ferdinand sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Flavio Vittori skillfully saved the ball. Johnny Gobillot stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zaccheo Andolina's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Italy were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after El Gallo de Moron's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sigfrido Auletta took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Sigfrido Auletta got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Johnny Gobillot quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marian Radziszewski got free with Flavio Vittori in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 34 minutes into the match, Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adriano Planovskiy. 38 minutes into the match, El Gallo de Moron's goal looked a bit too open when Siricio Liotta came free, but Johnny Gobillot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Adriano Planovskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Italy's Sigfrido Auletta got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marian Radziszewski made a kick off. In the 57th minute, Eliseo Cutri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adriano Planovskiy might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Flavio Vittori. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adriano Planovskiy ran back to his position shaking his head. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Planovskiy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Austin Estruch kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Siricio Liotta struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Johnny Gobillot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Italy. Sigfrido Auletta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. El Gallo de Moron made a substitution. Pedro Augusto De Assis Moreira replaced Bernardino Quintin. Joel Francis got a throw-in 70 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Adriano Planovskiy. In the 71st minute, Sigfrido Auletta made a precise shot to the right of Johnny Gobillot. El Gallo de Moron's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. With a little luck, El Gallo de Moron's Johnny Gobillot got control of the ball when Sigfrido Auletta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zaccheo Andolina took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Johnny Gobillot. Johnny Gobillot dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Italy made a substitution. Sansone Vanella replaced Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy's Guiscardo Davide was substituted for Sigfrido Auletta. The Italy players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
