Frank Sachs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Alejandro-Ramón Calderón De La Barca made a huge save. In the 58th minute Reynaldo Vinhas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Reynaldo Vinhas in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Black Devils booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albin Holweck didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Reynaldo Vinhas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Black Devils were victorious despite being under pressure from Germany for much of the match.
