Edson Bertassi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Peletier in the 2nd minute of play. The supporters of France booed when Carrapichel - FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kléberson Camargo didn't get a good kick on the ball. David Fernandes charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Fernandes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 7 played minutes France got a freekick which was hit by Camille Baume. After 8 minutes, Váldson Alagoano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carrapichel - FDFDF and the France players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 20th minute of the match France got a corner. Carrapichel - FDFDF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. David Barbier ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on France's corner Remy Dupuy fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Edson Bertassi quite easily take care of the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Kléberson Camargo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carrapichel - FDFDF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave France the free kick. After 29 played minutes Carrapichel - FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by Kléberson Camargo. Maxime Durand was a little too slow when Acácio Neto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 1-1. Remy Dupuy charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Remy Dupuy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 35 played minutes France got a freekick which was hit by Remy Dupuy. Beto Cavalcante made in the 38th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Kléberson Camargo immediately put the ball in play. Acácio Neto might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maxime Durand. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Acácio Neto ran back to his position shaking his head. 47 minutes into the match, France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Acácio Neto. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Peletier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edson Bertassi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camille Baume, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Frank Peletier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edson Bertassi having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Fernandes in the 59th minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, France's Camille Baume got a free kick in the 60th minute. Carrapichel - FDFDF's Oséias de Brito was substituted for Abel de Barros. Carrapichel - FDFDF made a substitution. Luís Moldavsky replaced Dráuzio Meirelles. In the 62nd minute of the match Rogério Alcântara shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maxime Durand showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Carrapichel - FDFDF booed when France was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camille Baume didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th match minute, Carrapichel - FDFDF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Acácio Neto to maneuver through the defense. During the 81st minute of the match Camille Baume completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Camille Baume a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Peletier in the 90th minute of play forced Carrapichel - FDFDF's goalkeeper Edson Bertassi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 93 played minutes France got a freekick which was hit by Alexis Bruneau. In the 95th minute Acácio Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Durand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. France were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Carrapichel - FDFDF to leave the ground with a draw.
