Iakovos Ksiros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Bertram Svenningsen struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Iakovos Ksiros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Denmark. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 14th minute of play forced Kolopetinitsa's goalkeeper Iakovos Ksiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iakovos Ksiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Bendtsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Kolopetinitsa's Filippos Antoniou managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Olav Graversen in the 41 minute of the game. Kolopetinitsa's Iakovos Ksiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Steen in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Daniil Panagopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Argyris Kountouriotis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Iakovos Ksiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Steen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iakovos Ksiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After some careless play in the Kolopetinitsa defense, Chris Nygaard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iakovos Ksiros. The Kolopetinitsa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iakovos Ksiros should have stopped the shot. In the 83rd minute of the match, Bertram Svenningsen tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Iakovos Ksiros saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Denmark's Lars Steen in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kolopetinitsa's goalie prevented a goal. Chris Nygaard did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-11 to the left of a surprised Iakovos Ksiros 90 minutes into the match. Kolopetinitsa's Iakovos Ksiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Nygaard in the 96th minute of play. Iakovos Ksiros had great luck who in the 98thth minute grab hold of the ball when Chris Nygaard from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Denmark played a much better game than Kolopetinitsa and deserved their victory. The Kolopetinitsa players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
