After a defensive mix-up in -BZF- Barca de Buzau's zone, Metod Mlynar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Vorniceanu came out of the goal and Metod Mlynar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vít Biskup kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 8th minute Metod Mlynar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Vorniceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Metod Mlynar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Felix Vorniceanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Felix Vorniceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Metod Mlynar in the 13th minute of play. Vít Biskup made in the 17th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Pavol Koleno immediately put the ball in play. When Anton Otețea fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored -BZF- Barca de Buzau's protests and gave Anton Otețea a yellow card for diving instead. Felix Vorniceanu came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Slovakia's Metod Mlynar. But to his dismay, Metod Mlynar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Felix Vorniceanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Metod Mlynar in the 25th minute of play. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Felix Vorniceanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Metod Mlynar in the 29th minute of play. Metod Mlynar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Vorniceanu having to interfere. Oliver Holub received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Felix Vorniceanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gheorghe Crăiniceanu was the one to do the kick off. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Felix Vorniceanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vavrinec Koleno in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the game, Vít Biskup threw the ball into play from the sideline. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Anton Otețea quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 56 played minutes Slovakia got a freekick which was hit by Pavol Koleno. A throw-in in the 58th minute of the game was made by Vít Biskup with Pavol Koleno as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 61 minutes into the game, Zigmund Maliar threw the ball into play from the sideline. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Ovidiu Pătrașcu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 64th match minute, Slovakia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ondrej Biskup to maneuver through the defense. After 67 played minutes -BZF- Barca de Buzau got a freekick which was hit by Valeriu Băcioiu. The throw-in from Zigmund Maliar in the 74th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Ovidiu Pătrașcu. 78 minutes into the game, Vít Biskup threw the ball into play from the sideline. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Aurel Ionașcu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Oliver Holub received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Felix Vorniceanu came out and tried to block the shot, but Oliver Holub slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 81st minute. Daniel Suchy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Vorniceanu having to interfere. 92 minutes into the game, Vít Biskup threw the ball into play from the sideline. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Aurel Ionașcu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Anton Otețea got his second yellow card of the match in the 95th minute. The referee ordered Anton Otețea off the ground. In the 96th minute, Anton Otețea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Slovakia played a much better game than -BZF- Barca de Buzau and deserved their victory. The -BZF- Barca de Buzau players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
