After taking down the ball on Hungary's corner Vörös Henrik fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pascual Pitin quite easily take care of the ball. Pascual Pitin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 15th minute of play. Erling Gentenaar's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erling Gentenaar helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Hungary booed when Maní FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Balazs Lajos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 63 minutes into the game, Hungary's Takacs Tibor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pascual Pitin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Hungary's Antal Valentin got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Pascual Pitin made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Major Barna got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wandy Petera in the 74th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Maní FC's goalkeeper Pascual Pitin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Major Barna. When Antal Valentin came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antal Valentin couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Major Barna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pascual Pitin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 89th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. Maní FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Antal Valentin struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Pascual Pitin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. The Maní FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hungary were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
