Pablo Sánchez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. David Drent took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anton Donose, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 7 minutes into the game, Club Atlético Lea Papá's Alan Marinelli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. David Drent made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Hong Qing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Msaed Kakoli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alan Marinelli got free with David Drent in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. David Drent showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Donose, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Alan Marinelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. David Drent tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Horacio Carbonari hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. David Drent took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anton Donose, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Al Whada FC's David Drent got control of the ball when Alan Marinelli tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 29th minute Club Atlético Lea Papá were awarded a corner. Celso Barrientos went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Pablo Sánchez managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Al Whada FC's David Drent played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Donose in the 32nd minute of play. David Drent made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Alan Marinelli sent off a good shot on target. Hong Qing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Msaed Kakoli in the 38th minute of play. Al Whada FC's David Drent proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Al Whada FC from getting a goal against them. David Drent didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alan Marinelli went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alvar Ponce to strike the kick off in the second half. David Drent showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Donose in the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Donose in the 59th minute of play forced Al Whada FC's goalkeeper David Drent to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 63 minutes Al Whada FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Celso Barrientos who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Lea Papá's Marcelo Carracedo got a free kick in the 67th minute. David Drent came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Lea Papá's Alvar Ponce. But to his dismay, Alvar Ponce quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. 73 minutes into the game, Adem Al Besher threw the ball into play from the sideline. Club Atlético Lea Papá's Celso Barrientos quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 79 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Lea Papá's Anton Donose sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Drent narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Club Atlético Lea Papá made a substitution. Aldo-Pedro Poy replaced Anton Donose. Adem Al Besher made in the 84th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Aadil Al Balool however managed to control. In the 87th minute Celso Barrientos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Drent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, Alvar Ponce made a precise shot to the right of David Drent. Al Whada FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. In the 91st minute, Alvar Ponce ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Drent was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Club Atlético Lea Papá's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
