In the 11th minute Hans Otterlei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cai Yue Guang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Ninjas in Pyjamas's Manuel Isăilă nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joel Delfino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 15th minute, Ninjas in Pyjamas's Manuel Isăilă ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joel Delfino. Joel Delfino yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The audience was convinced that Hans Otterlei's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cai Yue Guang was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. 25 minutes into the game, Ninjas in Pyjamas's Manuel Isăilă nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joel Delfino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Jairo Boniel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Cai Yue Guang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the game, Manuel Isăilă cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Joel Delfino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 45 minutes into the game, La Cosa Nostra's Hans Otterlei nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cai Yue Guang made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. 47 minutes into the match, Ninjas in Pyjamas's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Otterlei came free, but Cai Yue Guang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Hans Otterlei made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to La Cosa Nostra getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Joel Suarez hit a great ball. Joel Delfino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Isăilă in the 61st minute of play. Ninjas in Pyjamas made a substitution. Ghitã Butuc replaced Pastor Ellow. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by La Cosa Nostra's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rareș Tatulici was slow to take the kick. During this time Ninjas in Pyjamas's players had a chance to rest. Ninjas in Pyjamas's Denílson 慕容 was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Joel Delfino in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Denílson 慕容 put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Joel Delfino. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manuel Isăilă in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joel Delfino saved La Cosa Nostra from getting behind. In the 70th minute Ninjas in Pyjamas were awarded a corner. Rareș Tatulici went to the cornerflag to take it. Hector Morientes scored 6-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joel Delfino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 81st match minute, Ninjas in Pyjamas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armağan Yörük to maneuver through the defense. Cai Yue Guang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marciano Bizen in the 83rd minute of the match. Marciano Bizen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Cai Yue Guang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marciano Bizen in the 92nd minute of play forced Ninjas in Pyjamas's goalkeeper Cai Yue Guang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 92 played minutes La Cosa Nostra got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Martxel. In the 94th minute, Sergio Martxel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th match minute, La Cosa Nostra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Alvarez to maneuver through the defense. Ninjas in Pyjamas were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of La Cosa Nostra for a fine match.
