Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Villa Verde FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tiberiu Caramarin came free, but Damian Mouricio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Saul Goodman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Calistrat Madgearu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Damian Mouricio made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Tiberiu Caramarin sent off a good shot on target. After 23 minutes of play, Villa Verde FC's Saul Goodman made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Calistrat Madgearu was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saul Goodman in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Calistrat Madgearu saved MIT Craiova from getting behind. In the 40th minute Tiberiu Caramarin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Mouricio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st match minute, Villa Verde FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grigore Coroian to maneuver through the defense. Florin Seremet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Damian Mouricio made a huge save. In the 47th minute, Francisco Veloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The MIT Craiova players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Villa Verde FC were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tiberiu Caramarin to make the kick off. Dida Viana hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Damian Mouricio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiberiu Caramarin in the 56th minute of the match. Calistrat Madgearu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saul Goodman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicodim Orășan in the 62nd minute of play forced Villa Verde FC's goalkeeper Damian Mouricio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damian Mouricio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicodim Orășan, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Damian Mouricio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorin Banu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damian Mouricio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorin Banu in the 73rd minute of the match. The attack was good, but when Dorin Banu in the 73rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Villa Verde FC made a substitution. Belmiro Borges replaced Dida Viana. 77 minutes into the match, Villa Verde FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tiberiu Caramarin came free, but Damian Mouricio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damian Mouricio came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by MIT Craiova's David Tunander. But to his dismay, David Tunander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Damian Mouricio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicodim Orășan in the 96th minute of the match. The Villa Verde FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Villa Verde FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
