In the 2nd match minute, Ras al-Jaima Al Ain FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdul Mohsen Al Banwan to maneuver through the defense. Al-Jazira Sporting Club's Yasser Al Hammady couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ras al-Jaima Al Ain FC. 14 minutes into the match, Al-Jazira Sporting Club's goal looked a bit too open when Hamzah Bo Abbas came free, but Alexandros Karterouliotis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamzah Bo Abbas in the 17th minute of play forced Al-Jazira Sporting Club's goalkeeper Alexandros Karterouliotis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute Hamzah Bo Abbas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandros Karterouliotis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hamzah Bo Abbas took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexandros Karterouliotis. Alexandros Karterouliotis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Al-Jazira Sporting Club's Alexandros Karterouliotis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Al-Jazira Sporting Club from getting a goal against them. 24 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Ras al-Jaima Al Ain FC's Hamzah Bo Abbas fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After 33 minutes of play, Ras al-Jaima Al Ain FC's Hamzah Bo Abbas made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexandros Karterouliotis was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 36th minute, Hussain Bo Qamaz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tolek Owsiak was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After 40 played minutes Ras al-Jaima Al Ain FC got a freekick which was hit by Eyad Al Asuosi. Yasser Al Hammady kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After 44 played minutes Mansour Al Khobaize rounded Al-Jazira Sporting Club's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mosaed Al Sohali to strike the kick off in the second half. Hussain Bo Qamaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tolek Owsiak having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Sari Bo Hamad made a precise shot to the right of Alexandros Karterouliotis. Al-Jazira Sporting Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Al-Jazira Sporting Club's Alexandros Karterouliotis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shaker Al Abdullah in the 60th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Hamzah Bo Abbas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alexandros Karterouliotis. Al-Jazira Sporting Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hamzah Bo Abbas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. When Hamzah Bo Abbas came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Ras al-Jaima Al Ain FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hamzah Bo Abbas couldn't finish the play. 69 minutes into the match, Hamzah Bo Abbas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alexandros Karterouliotis. Al-Jazira Sporting Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hamzah Bo Abbas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. After a rather tough play, Al-Jazira Sporting Club's Esmael Shabakhoh got a free kick in the 72nd minute. The supporters of Ras al-Jaima Al Ain FC booed when Al-Jazira Sporting Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sari Al Qatam didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexandros Karterouliotis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shaker Al Abdullah, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
