In the 25th minute Shaban Al Najdi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandros Karterouliotis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Al Dhaid SC's 王战冰 got control of the ball when Hussain Bo Qamaz tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 27th match minute, Al Dhaid SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Motlaq Al Ghanem to maneuver through the defense. Alexandros Karterouliotis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shaban Al Najdi in the 30th minute of the match. Hussain Bo Qamazs short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got 王战冰 to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Al Dhaid SC booed when Al-Jazira Sporting Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esmael Shabakhoh didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Taqi Al Mansor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Al Dhaid SC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Shehab Abo Al Hasan was the one to do the kick off. Al-Jazira Sporting Club's Alexandros Karterouliotis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Al-Jazira Sporting Club from getting a goal against them. Jawad Bo Abbas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 王战冰 having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Fakher Sarkhoh had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of 王战冰. Al Dhaid SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fakher Sarkhoh was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 王战冰 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hussain Bo Qamaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 68th match minute, Al Dhaid SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mosaed Al Ajmi to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Al-Jazira Sporting Club getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Yasser Al Hammady hit a great ball. Alexandros Karterouliotis was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Saed Kakoli. Shaban Al Najdi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Alexandros Karterouliotis made a huge save. Al-Jazira Sporting Club's Alexandros Karterouliotis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shaban Al Najdi in the 79th minute of play. Alexandros Karterouliotis made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Shaban Al Najdi sent off a good shot on target. After 80 minutes of play, Al Dhaid SC's Shaban Al Najdi made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexandros Karterouliotis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Al Dhaid SC's Shehab Abo Al Hasan got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sari Al Qatam scored 2-4 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 王战冰, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Al-Jazira Sporting Club booed when Al Dhaid SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramadan Al Hashash didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute of the match, Shaban Al Najdi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alexandros Karterouliotis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Al Dhaid SC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
