Edward Vanderstraeten might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mert Günok. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Vanderstraeten ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Victor Santos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Casper Claes was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victor Santos made a kick off. Casper Claes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victor Santos's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Han Yang Xi's late challenge caught a Belgium's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Han Yang Xi helped the player get up and apologised. Han Yang Xi hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Mert Günok showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 93rd match minute, Belgium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurens Vandamme to maneuver through the defense. Futbol Sevenler Kulübü's Hıdır Batıhan was substituted for Hüseyin Cahit Yanıker.
