Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Damian Maftei kicked off to start the match. Aguinaga Nebot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 3rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zaccheo Andolina in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aguinaga Nebot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 4th minute, Martinez Cines ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Flavio Vittori was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Ramos Marron made in the 10th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Italy's Siricio Liotta. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Martinez Cines took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Flavio Vittori to make any attempt to save it. In the 21st minute of the match Italy got a corner. Esmeraldas S.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sigfrido Auletta ran over to the corner to take the kick. Aguinaga Nebot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sigfrido Auletta in the 23rd minute of the match. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Maftei in the 24th minute of play. In the 31stth minute of the game Stefanos Terzopoulos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Italy's Flavio Vittori was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Martinez Cines could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Flavio Vittori made a huge save. Gomberto Picozzi hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Aguinaga Nebot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. If Sigfrido Auletta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 42 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Zaccheo Andolina. Sostene Vitulli charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sostene Vitulli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Esmeraldas S.C. booed when Italy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sostene Vitulli didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Gomberto Picozzi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Italy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Esmeraldas S.C. the free kick. Gomberto Picozzi hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. In the 48thth minute of the game İbrahim Volkan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Italy's Flavio Vittori was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Esmeraldas S.C.'s İbrahim Volkan in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Italy's goalie prevented a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zaccheo Andolina made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Maftei came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute, Gomberto Picozzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Maftei in the 58th minute of the match. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefanos Terzopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esmeraldas S.C. were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Italy's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Niki Borda took the corner. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İbrahim Volkan in the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Esmeraldas S.C.'s goalkeeper Aguinaga Nebot, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aguinaga Nebot was a little too slow when Zaccheo Andolina got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 2-1. Zaccheo Andolina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adriano Curto got free with Aguinaga Nebot in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Esmeraldas S.C.'s Aguinaga Nebot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Curto in the 90th minute of play. The corner led to Italy's Sansone Vanella getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After a rather tough play, Italy's Siricio Liotta got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The Esmeraldas S.C. support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
