The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aaron Ted during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Acratas Unidos's Carlitos Parodi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tonico Tinoco in the 3rd minute of play. The supporters of Inter Miami CF booed when Acratas Unidos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Ted didn't get a good kick on the ball. Placido Mergildo made in the 11th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Acratas Unidos's Erasmo Gregory. Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matthias Vall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Acratas Unidos fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Acratas Unidos's Margus Paukson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 27 minutes into the match, Tonico Tinoco notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Acratas Unidos's Carlitos Parodi. Carlitos Parodi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Braulio Jorrin struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Acratas Unidos. Enrique Theobald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the match, Acratas Unidos's goal looked a bit too open when Tonico Tinoco came free, but Carlitos Parodi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlitos Parodi made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Román Riquelme sent off a good shot on target.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Margus Paukson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Inter Miami CF's goal looked a bit too open when Matthias Vall came free, but Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Acratas Unidos's goal looked a bit too open when Guaberto Paio came free, but Carlitos Parodi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matthias Vall got free with Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Inter Miami CF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Enrique Theobald was slow to take the kick. During this time Acratas Unidos's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Acratas Unidos's corner Enrique Theobald fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah quite easily take care of the ball. If Elias Bidun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Inter Miami CF's Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah got control of the ball when Margus Paukson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Margus Paukson hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Acratas Unidos defense, Javier Fridman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlitos Parodi. The Acratas Unidos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlitos Parodi should have stopped the shot. Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Enrique Theobald sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Inter Miami CF fans cheered their team off the field, for while Acratas Unidos had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
