ALIANZA 1901's supporters rose to their feet, but Josepe Gamiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlitos Parodi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Luis Escobar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, ALIANZA 1901's Ruy Berger got control of the ball when Andres Firmin tried to sneak it across the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Andres Firmin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ruy Berger, 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, ALIANZA 1901's goalkeeper Ruy Berger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matthias Vall. The audience thought a goal was coming when Margus Paukson got free with Ruy Berger in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Matthias Vall did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Ruy Berger 18 minutes into the match. Carlitos Parodi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Escobar, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute, Alfredo Tomasini left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ALIANZA 1901 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Ruy Berger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matthias Vall in the 31st minute. Carlitos Parodi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Escobar in the 34th minute of play. In the 37th minute Acratas Unidos were awarded a corner. Enrique Theobald went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Enrique Theobald got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ruy Berger quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ruy Berger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthias Vall in the 40th minute of play. Carlitos Parodi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Tomasini, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Margus Paukson hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Matthias Vall stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Matthias Vall notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of ALIANZA 1901's Ruy Berger. Ruy Berger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Carlitos Parodi made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Luis Escobar sent off a good shot on target. Matthias Vall struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Ruy Berger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Acratas Unidos. 62 minutes into the match, ALIANZA 1901's goal looked a bit too open when Matthias Vall came free, but Ruy Berger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matthias Vall in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruy Berger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by ALIANZA 1901's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Elias Bidun was slow to take the kick. During this time Acratas Unidos's players had a chance to rest. Acratas Unidos's Elias Bidun was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ruy Berger in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Mincho Mar came free with the goalkeeper in the 89th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Carlitos Parodi could save by the left post. Margus Paukson struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Ruy Berger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Acratas Unidos.
