Latif Al Fakir made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Latif Al Fakir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kostas Sourpis in the 20th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Frits Evenhuis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Latif Al Fakir was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frits Evenhuis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, MC ESPANHOL's Latif Al Fakir threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from João Gomes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, Galatasaray SK's Latif Al Fakir got control of the ball when Kostas Sourpis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Teófilo Belém came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Galatasaray SK's Cristiano Hagi. But to his dismay, Cristiano Hagi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Latif Al Fakir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kostas Sourpis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Artur Mudry kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match.
