Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Santo Illan started the match with the kick off. Per-Olof Walroth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Servando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pastor Oriches short, quick shot in the 8thth minute got Per-Olof Walroth to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Camilo Mondragon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hannes Larsson in the 10th minute of the match. After 11 played minutes Formentera got a freekick which was hit by Gualterio Bidun. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thomas Lövkvist in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Camilo Mondragon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Formentera's Camilo Mondragon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hannes Larsson in the 19th minute of play. Camilo Mondragon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hannes Larsson's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. After having played for 30 minutes, Thomas Lövkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Strömsbro IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomas Lövkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd minute, Julio Servando ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Per-Olof Walroth was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Hannes Larsson charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hannes Larsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Formentera booed when Strömsbro IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hannes Larsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Hannes Larsson made the kick off in the second half. Guillermo Marin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute Guillermo Marin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Olof Walroth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thomas Lövkvist struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Camilo Mondragon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Strömsbro IF. In the 68th minute, Sune Tunström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's goal looked a bit too open when Santo Illan came free, but Per-Olof Walroth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillermo Marin in the 78th minute of play forced Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Per-Olof Walroth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Strömsbro IF getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Jon Ivarsson hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute Filomeno Nicholas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Olof Walroth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Santo Illan came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Formentera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santo Illan couldn't finish the play. Strömsbro IF succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Formentera had controlled the match.
