But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mário Urbano couldn't finish the play. Caio Ferreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hannes Larsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wellington Bezerra charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wellington Bezerra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hannes Larsson in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Caio Ferreira saved Qjos MiLLano from getting behind. Strömsbro IF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Paul Hellström in the 20th minute. In the 21st match minute, Strömsbro IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Lövkvist to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the game, Paul Hellström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Caio Ferreira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 27th minute Thomas Lövkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caio Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 37 minutes of play, Strömsbro IF's Hannes Larsson made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Caio Ferreira was left in no man's land by his defense there! The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Caio Ferreira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-4.

After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Oscar Tróia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hudson Varela hit a great ball. Strömsbro IF's Per-Olof Walroth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário Urbano in the 86th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Strömsbro IF walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
