Camilo Mondragon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zebastian Palmkvist in the 3rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as FC NILS's Pol Putov slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Camilo Mondragon. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. Guillermo Marin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillermo Marin in the 22nd minute of play forced FC NILS's goalkeeper Niklas Skoglund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute Formentera were awarded a corner. Guillermo Marin went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Guillermo Marin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC NILS's Niklas Skoglund did a great save. Joaquin Vela made in the 24th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Guillermo Marin however managed to control. Christer Boberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Camilo Mondragon made a huge save. Christer Boberg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Camilo Mondragon skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, FC NILS's Pol Putov got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After 34 minutes, Pasha Bollen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC NILS and the Formentera players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 34th match minute, FC NILS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pasha Bollen to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the match, Christer Boberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Camilo Mondragon. Formentera's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christer Boberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Gualterio Bidun charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gualterio Bidun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Formentera were furious when Isaias Lesardo was red carded, 46 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Formentera! The referee gave FC NILS a penalty, 47 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Pol Putov, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Formentera's Camilo Mondragon. 3-0.

The wind increased when Lisandro Remicio made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Christer Boberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Mondragon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Formentera defense, Pol Putov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camilo Mondragon. The Formentera fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camilo Mondragon should have stopped the shot. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Formentera's goalkeeper Camilo Mondragon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 63rd match minute, FC NILS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Berglund to maneuver through the defense. FC NILS's Darin Bozduganov got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC NILS had played much better football throughout.
