In the 17th minute, Fritz Berghmans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fritz Berghmans who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Camilo Mondragon when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Olivier Dubs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Tabb, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fritz Berghmans was the one to do the kick off. BEST FABIO F.C.'s Anaking Skywalker managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Modesto Poncio in the 51 minute of the game. 52 minutes into the game, Fritz Berghmans cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Camilo Mondragon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jiang Liang Wei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 57th minute Fritz Berghmans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Mondragon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Fritz Berghmans had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Camilo Mondragon. Formentera's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fritz Berghmans was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jiang Liang Wei in the 63rd minute of play forced Formentera's goalkeeper Camilo Mondragon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fausto Velloso during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 68 minutes into the match, BEST FABIO F.C.'s goalkeeper Olivier Dubs had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonides Manny. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fritz Berghmans in the 70th minute of play forced Formentera's goalkeeper Camilo Mondragon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Formentera's Camilo Mondragon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fritz Berghmans in the 73rd minute of play. Camilo Mondragon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fritz Berghmans in the 76th minute of the match. BEST FABIO F.C.'s Igor Gulak was substituted for Alexandre Xande. Fritz Berghmans scored 4-1 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Camilo Mondragon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Camilo Mondragon came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by BEST FABIO F.C.'s Fritz Berghmans. But to his dismay, Fritz Berghmans quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Formentera's Camilo Mondragon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fritz Berghmans in the 92nd minute of play. BEST FABIO F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fausto Velloso in the 93rd minute. A well done corner resulted in Anaking Skywalker drilling the ball in to score 6-1 behind Formentera's goalkeeper. Formentera's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
