With a little luck, Club Atletico Fenix's Leopoldo Abarca got control of the ball when David Tabb tried to sneak it across the goal line. David Tabb's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 3rdth minute, Leopoldo Abarca skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Tabb in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leopoldo Abarca saved Club Atletico Fenix from getting behind. Club Atletico Fenix's Leopoldo Abarca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atletico Fenix from getting a goal against them. David Tabb took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leopoldo Abarca. Leopoldo Abarca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. David Tabb had several of the Club Atletico Fenix's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 16 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Leopoldo Abarca as he didn't even see the shot coming. David Tabb in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Leopoldo Abarca, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Club Atletico Fenix's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when David Tabb scored to the left of an out of position Leopoldo Abarca, making the score, 3-0. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 4-0 when David Tabb sped through Club Atletico Fenix's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leopoldo Abarca. In the 37th minute Damian Hitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Mondragon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camilo Mondragon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Hitz in the 38th minute of the match. David Tabb who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Leopoldo Abarca when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 42ndth minute of the game David Tabb who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atletico Fenix's Leopoldo Abarca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonides Manny in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leopoldo Abarca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 45 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Fenix's Damian Hitz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Camilo Mondragon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for David Tabb to strike the kick off in the second half. The Formentera fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Formentera's Leonides Manny looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 62nd minute, Leonides Manny got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 64 played minutes Club Atletico Fenix got a freekick which was hit by Eriberto George. Leopoldo Abarca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from David Tabb went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. In the 71st minute, Tobias Ponciano sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Club Atletico Fenix's Leopoldo Abarca didn't even have to move. Leopoldo Abarca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santo Illan in the 75th minute of the match. Leopoldo Abarca came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Formentera's David Tabb. But to his dismay, David Tabb quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. When Formentera's David Tabb in 80 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Leopoldo Abarca guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Club Atletico Fenix's Leopoldo Abarca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Tabb in the 81st minute of play. Damian Hitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. David Tabb scored 8-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leopoldo Abarca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Leopoldo Abarca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonides Manny in the 87th minute of the match. Club Atletico Fenix's Leopoldo Abarca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Tabb in the 89th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling David Tabb in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leopoldo Abarca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Formentera booed when Club Atletico Fenix was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo Cordeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Formentera's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
