Avram Popoiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atilla Açıkalın, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 29 played minutes Deportivo Damasco F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Lorenz Gundin. In the 31st minute, Atilla Açıkalın made a precise shot to the right of Avram Popoiu. Deportivo Damasco F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Batıkan Muhsin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimir Couto in the 37th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilla Açıkalın in the 41st minute of play forced Deportivo Damasco F.C.'s goalkeeper Avram Popoiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
