Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Omar Toledo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Adria Bielsa might have been able to make a better finish in the 2nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Martin Crețu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adria Bielsa ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 2nd minute Adria Bielsa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Crețu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 2 minutes into the match, Adria Bielsa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Martin Crețu. Stiinta-Univ.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adria Bielsa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Shi Ming Sheng could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Gabriel Ascaso made a huge save. In the 6th minute of the match Stiinta-Univ. got a corner. Spain's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aurel Panait ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gabriel Ascaso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Shi Ming Sheng in the 9th minute. After 10 minutes Spain's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aurel Panait who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Stiinta-Univ.'s corner Aurel Panait fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gabriel Ascaso quite easily take care of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, David Aranda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spain's supporters rose to their feet, but David Aranda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Crețu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 18th minute, Israel Jurado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Spain's Omar Toledo in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stiinta-Univ.'s goalie prevented a goal. If Shi Ming Sheng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With 31 minutes on the clock, Șerban Rușanu commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Omar Toledo took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Martin Crețu. Martin Crețu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Martin Crețu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adria Bielsa, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Martin Crețu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adria Bielsa in the 39th minute of the match. Martin Crețu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adria Bielsa in the 42nd minute of play. Valeriu Morovan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Shi Ming Sheng was the one to do the kick off. Enrique Rabellino hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Adria Bielsa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Adria Bielsa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spain's supporters rose to their feet, but Adria Bielsa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Crețu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Shi Ming Sheng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Gabriel Ascaso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Stiinta-Univ.'s zone, Omar Toledo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Crețu came out of the goal and Omar Toledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Spain's Jon Cubero got a free kick in the 65th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Shi Ming Sheng had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gabriel Ascaso. Spain's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Shi Ming Sheng was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Spain's Carles Cherro was substituted for Omar Toledo. If Adria Bielsa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin Crețu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adria Bielsa went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carles Cherro in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martin Crețu saved Stiinta-Univ. from getting behind. 84 minutes into the match, Spain's goal looked a bit too open when Shi Ming Sheng came free, but Gabriel Ascaso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Stiinta-Univ.'s zone, Sergio Ruiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Crețu came out of the goal and Sergio Ruiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
