Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcial Roldanillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Carlos Quentin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viriato Moura made a kick off. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. Pincha FC's Brian Nuñez was substituted for Everardo Garaile. In the 78th match minute, Pincha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos-Salvador Bilardo to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Quentin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolomeu Dias in the 81st minute of play. In the 94th minute, Felipinho Amorim ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Quentin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2.
