Claudinei Novaes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fodor Daniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Giuseppe Ramalho to make the kick off. João Carlos Viana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bakos Endre got a throw-in 88 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Balazs Lajos. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but João Carlos Viana made a huge save.
