Vavrinec Holub made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Virgilio Loi sent off a good shot on target. Cristian Dolberg took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vavrinec Holub. Vavrinec Holub dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Alberto Lucian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alan Rezek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Virgilio Loi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vavrinec Holub having to interfere. The supporters of Tapebicuá booed when Czech Republic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Rezek didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristian Dolberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tapebicuá's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
