Dionisio Dolfo might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vavrinec Holub. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dionisio Dolfo ran back to his position shaking his head. Czech Republic's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Paulo Bartolome 6 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. When Dionisio Dolfo came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Academia Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dionisio Dolfo couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dionisio Dolfo in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vavrinec Holub prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Czech Republic getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Daniel Vitek hit a great ball. Dionisio Dolfo scored 2-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vavrinec Holub, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Paulo Bartolome fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Academia Club's protests and gave Paulo Bartolome a yellow card for diving instead. Paulo Bartolome kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After 30 played minutes Academia Club got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Blasco. After 31 played minutes, Czech Republic's Erik Jilek shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hernan Ellande came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Czech Republic reached it. Vavrinec Holub made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Dionisio Dolfo sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Bartolome in the 36th minute of play forced Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vavrinec Holub didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 39th minute, which inside left pole to 3-1. 46 minutes into the match, Erik Jilek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hernan Ellande. Academia Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erik Jilek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

52 minutes into the match, Czech Republic's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Gaur came free, but Vavrinec Holub reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Dionisio Dolfo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Academia Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Dionisio Dolfo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vavrinec Holub breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristian Gaur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vavrinec Holub having to interfere. Dionisio Dolfo might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vavrinec Holub. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vavrinec Holub took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Gaur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 71 minutes of play Academia Club's Paulo Bartolome was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Czech Republic booed when Academia Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Bartolome didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute Leandro Ranolfo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vavrinec Holub saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cristian Gaur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kvetoslav Janku hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Academia Club's Leandro Ranolfo tried to score from far away in the 83rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Vavrinec Holub took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dionisio Dolfo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sergio Puyol kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Erik Jilek took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hernan Ellande. Academia Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. There was no doubt that Academia Club were the better team. Academia Club's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
