Clark Kent showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yves Dervaux, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Edward Vanderstraeten had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clark Kent. Zorros del Desierto's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edward Vanderstraeten was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 15th minute Alex Dijoux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th play minute Alex Dijoux came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Casper Claes. 1-1. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clark Kent read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Clark Kent took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yves Dervaux, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30thth minute of the game Alex Dijoux who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Belgium's Casper Claes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Belgium's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Toninho Vander was slow to take the kick. During this time Zorros del Desierto's players had a chance to rest. Alex Dijoux's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casper Claes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute Yves Dervaux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clark Kent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd match minute, Belgium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siebe Michiels to maneuver through the defense. Darío Verón hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alex Dijoux to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Zorros del Desierto getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Dalmo Ferreira hit a great ball. Zorros del Desierto's Zenaido Oviedo was substituted for Lance Kuch. Zorros del Desierto made a substitution. Edward Okopny replaced Dalmo Ferreira. Dalmo Ferreira kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Quique Cordoba might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Casper Claes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Quique Cordoba ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quique Cordoba in the 60th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Belgium getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Lenny Clocheret hit a great ball. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quique Cordoba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Quique Cordoba took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Casper Claes. Casper Claes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Clark Kent made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 83rd minute. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 90 minutes into the match, Zorros del Desierto's Quique Cordoba sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Casper Claes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Many of Belgium's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Belgium may have spent more time on the ball, but Zorros del Desierto were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
