In the 13th minute, Aila Van reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of 陆鸿强. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 16th minute 庞青常 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 陆鸿强 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When 曾凡谦 came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the 武汉菜鸟队 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 曾凡谦 couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in 武汉菜鸟队's zone, Adriano Lancia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 康斌常 came out of the goal and Adriano Lancia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 林潮南's late challenge caught a 福建福州王者红狼队's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 林潮南 helped the player get up and apologised. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.
The wind increased when Adriano Lancia made the kick off in the second half. 武汉菜鸟队's 康斌常 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Lancia in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd minute Adriano Lancia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 康斌常 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Aila Van left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Omar Gallego kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 陆鸿强 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 林潮南 in the 85th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, 福建福州王者红狼队's goal looked a bit too open when Ingemar Kilman came free, but 陆鸿强 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emil Biörkquist charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
