The referee showed Wilson Gold the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by 朱烨瑜 in the 15th minute of play forced Lake Mohawk FC's goalkeeper Lucrețiu Gherase to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Feliciano in the 18th minute of play forced 泾县Red-Star FC's goalkeeper 李斐昂 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind 泾县Red-Star FC's goalkeeper 李斐昂, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, 朱烨瑜 put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Lucrețiu Gherase. 傅森岩 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If 朱烨瑜 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th match minute, Lake Mohawk FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davis Mabry to maneuver through the defense. Dan Feliciano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 李斐昂 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. A collision led to 泾县Red-Star FC getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. 宋景渊 hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

狄珂霆 hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 54 minutes into the match, 泾县Red-Star FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wilson Gold came free, but 李斐昂 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of 泾县Red-Star FC booed when Lake Mohawk FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Myles Clearwater didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilson Gold succeeded in the game's 62nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Lake Mohawk FC's Lucrețiu Gherase proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Lake Mohawk FC from getting a goal against them. Dan Feliciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 72 played minutes Lake Mohawk FC got a freekick which was hit by Rory Talbot. 傅森岩 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. The tension between the 泾县Red-Star FC and the Lake Mohawk FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 李斐昂 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson Gold in the 89th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Lake Mohawk FC's goal looked a bit too open when 朱烨瑜 came free, but Lucrețiu Gherase reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucrețiu Gherase was a little too slow when 朱烨瑜 got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 2-2. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
