The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the match, Mochila FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo-Enrique Bochini came free, but Donato Furlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 4th minute Zé Roberto Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atahan Balon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Saverio Brion notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Mochila FC's Donato Furlan. Donato Furlan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 10 minutes of play, Los Muchachos del 86's Ricardo-Enrique Bochini made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Donato Furlan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Donato Furlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Asiz Soon in the 13th minute of the match. It was a well-played corner which Asiz Soon managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 17 minutes into the game, Ricardo-Enrique Bochini cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Donato Furlan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zé Roberto Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Atahan Balon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Saverio Brion came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Los Muchachos del 86 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saverio Brion couldn't finish the play. Asiz Soon kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Nuno Galvão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Atahan Balon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Ricardo-Enrique Bochini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Donato Furlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saverio Brion, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After 41 minutes Mochila FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Beto Márcico who took care of the corner kick. Zé Roberto Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Donato Furlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saverio Brion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 45 played minutes Mochila FC got a freekick which was hit by Erik Amorim. If Geovanni da Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Los Muchachos del 86 were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zé Roberto Fonseca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mochila FC's Donato Furlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Honesto in the 85th minute of play. Mochila FC's Donato Furlan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Mochila FC from getting a goal against them. 87 minutes into the match, Fabio Bencivenni dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Donato Furlan, 0-7. 90 minutes into the match, Mochila FC's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Honesto came free, but Donato Furlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damian Honesto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Donato Furlan made a huge save. When the final whistle sounded Los Muchachos del 86 left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mochila FC.
