The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 81st minute, one of Que se abra o mar:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Que se abra o mar. 83 minutes into the match, Cido Araújo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sandro Tepedino. Que se abra o mar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cido Araújo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Que se abra o mar's Tommy Van Elsen got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alpachiri AFC's Roman Shantala proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Alpachiri AFC from getting a goal against them. When Tommy Van Elsen fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Que se abra o mar's protests and gave Tommy Van Elsen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st minute, Tommy Van Elsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 96 minutes into the match, Alpachiri AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Lando Norin came free, but Roman Shantala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
