With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anti Kodu in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nery Pumpido saved GuateFortín from getting behind. GuateFortín's Nery Pumpido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anti Kodu in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anti Kodu in the 25th minute of play forced GuateFortín's goalkeeper Nery Pumpido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kenn Kuberg made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Zico Zellier sent off a good shot on target. If Anti Kodu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anti Kodu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nery Pumpido read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. GuateFortín's Nery Pumpido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiberiu Ruşdea in the 31st minute of play. When Gaël Poulin fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skellerup FC's protests and gave Gaël Poulin a yellow card for diving instead. 38 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's goal looked a bit too open when Anti Kodu came free, but Nery Pumpido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anti Kodu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nery Pumpido having to make a save. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After a defensive mix-up in Skellerup FC's zone, Orlando Coria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kenn Kuberg came out of the goal and Orlando Coria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 59 minutes into the match, Skellerup FC's Anti Kodu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nery Pumpido narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Indiana Jones came free with the goalkeeper in the 63rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nery Pumpido could save by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Indiana Jones got free with Nery Pumpido in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. GuateFortín's Máximo Perrone was substituted for Mario Gomez. GuateFortín's Heriberto Correa was substituted for Roberto Trotta. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind GuateFortín's goalkeeper Nery Pumpido, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nery Pumpido didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 69th minute, which inside left pole to 0-1. Orlando Coria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Skellerup FC's Kenn Kuberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Coria in the 80th minute of play. Nery Pumpido came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Skellerup FC's Anti Kodu. But to his dismay, Anti Kodu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 89th match minute, GuateFortín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danilo Ocampo to maneuver through the defense. Anti Kodu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
