Fabian Burowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stanyo Búnkov went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 范升扬 made a kick off. In the 54th minute of the game Stanyo Búnkov made a throw-in which Sven-Edvin Jansson played forward. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind GuateFortín's goalkeeper Nery Pumpido, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. GuateFortín's Nery Pumpido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Ornelas in the 92nd minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Barrilete Cósmico FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while GuateFortín had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
