Alfredinho Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredinho Machado in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maxime Durand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anastasios Bouroutzikas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remy Dupuy in the 17th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredinho Machado in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maxime Durand saved France from getting behind. Alfredinho Machado took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maxime Durand. Maxime Durand dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 38 minutes into the game, Alfredinho Machado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Maxime Durand was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Maxime Durand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfredinho Machado's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Alfredinho Machado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 43 played minutes SÃO JORGE FC™® got a freekick which was hit by Edson-Arantes Pelé. When Emilio Osasun fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SÃO JORGE FC™®'s protests and gave Emilio Osasun a yellow card for diving instead. After 45 played minutes SÃO JORGE FC™® got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Osasun. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edson-Arantes Pelé during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Anastasios Bouroutzikas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camille Baume, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the France defense, Alfredinho Machado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maxime Durand. The France fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maxime Durand should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredinho Machado in the 57th minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The attack was good, but when Alfredinho Machado in the 74th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Maxime Durand was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SÃO JORGE FC™® fans cheered their team off the field, for while France had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
