Godofredo Lauaxeta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute Mario Goren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Real Fénix FC booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Dreifuss didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Jeronimo Abeita from long distance, 26 minutes into the match, got Tommy Kahn's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 32 minutes Germany's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jeronimo Abeita who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Jeronimo Abeita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Germany's Tommy Kahn did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Goren in the 36th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mario Goren took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Zachary Falkiewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Goren came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank Sachs made a kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Germany's Adrian Dreifuss got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 61st minute Real Fénix FC were awarded a corner. Jeronimo Abeita went to the cornerflag to take it. Mario Goren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 63 minutes into the game, Godofredo Lauaxeta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Fénix FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Germany the free kick. Godofredo Lauaxeta kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 96th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Dreifuss to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Real Fénix FC fully deserved thier win.
