Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Edward Vanderstraeten started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Benjamim Dante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 3rd minute of the match. Casper Claes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerd Müller in the 4th minute. The audience was convinced that Edward Vanderstraeten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benjamim Dante was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Casper Claes made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Gerd Müller sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Belgium's Casper Claes got control of the ball when Gerd Müller tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edward Vanderstraeten scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benjamim Dante, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Estrela Solitária's goalkeeper Benjamim Dante, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Casper Claes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Edward Vanderstraeten struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Benjamim Dante didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belgium. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benjamim Dante read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Benjamim Dante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute, Gerd Müller made a precise shot to the right of Casper Claes. Belgium's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Gerd Müller in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Casper Claes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 39th minute of play forced Estrela Solitária's goalkeeper Benjamim Dante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute, Yves Dervaux got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Gerd Müller notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Belgium's Casper Claes. Casper Claes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Gerd Müller made the kick off in the second half. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dudu Meira in the 52nd minute of play. Gerd Müller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casper Claes having to interfere. Edward Vanderstraeten might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benjamim Dante. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Vanderstraeten ran back to his position shaking his head. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dudu Meira in the 58th minute of play. Estrela Solitária's Benjamim Dante proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Estrela Solitária from getting a goal against them. 62 minutes into the match, Edward Vanderstraeten had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benjamim Dante. Estrela Solitária's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edward Vanderstraeten was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. 68 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Gerd Müller came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edward Vanderstraeten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 71 minutes, Edward Vanderstraeten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belgium's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edward Vanderstraeten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benjamim Dante didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edward Vanderstraeten went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. 79 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Gerd Müller came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute Chicão Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Chicão Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estrela Solitária's supporters rose to their feet, but Chicão Amorim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Casper Claes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Belgium's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
