Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) 2 minutes into the match, Spain's goalkeeper Gabriel Ascaso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Grabiel Escorcia. In the 9th minute Omar Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Aveiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Santiago Sartori hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristiano Aveiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute Jon Cubero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Aveiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Walter Geromel's late challenge caught a Spain's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Walter Geromel helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Nacional's Walter Geromel got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Andres Orlondon kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Nacional's zone, David Aranda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristiano Aveiro came out of the goal and David Aranda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Cristiano Aveiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Aranda in the 63rd minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Vicente Merino dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cristiano Aveiro, 0-1. José Luis Rodríguez kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Nacional's José Luis Rodríguez got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 74th match minute, Nacional was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walter Geromel to maneuver through the defense. Cristiano Aveiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adria Bielsa, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Cristiano Aveiro came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Spain's Adria Bielsa. But to his dismay, Adria Bielsa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nacional's goalkeeper Cristiano Aveiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Nacional's Cristiano Aveiro got control of the ball when Carles Cherro tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 83 minutes, David Aranda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spain's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Aranda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Spain made a substitution. Pau Herrero replaced David Aranda. In the 90th minute of the match, Sergio Ruiz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cristiano Aveiro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Enrique Rabellino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spain's supporters rose to their feet, but Enrique Rabellino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristiano Aveiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Ruiz in the 95th minute of play forced Nacional's goalkeeper Cristiano Aveiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded Spain left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Nacional.
