Federico Quinten came free with the goalkeeper in the 6th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Keld Paulsen could save by the left post. Mikkel Wulff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignacio Valery having to interfere. Iker Loren kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Eigtheenstars 2's Ignacio Valery played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertram Svenningsen in the 13th minute of play. The corner led to Denmark's Bjarne Kirkegaard getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Ignacio Valery showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Steen, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Federico Quinten got free with Keld Paulsen in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Denmark's Keld Paulsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Denmark from getting a goal against them. In the 26thth minute of the game Bertram Svenningsen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eigtheenstars 2's Ignacio Valery was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 35th minute, Bjarne Kirkegaard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theis Winther to maneuver through the defense. Niguel Abasolo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 37th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 41st minute Jose Atarratze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jose Atarratze might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Keld Paulsen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jose Atarratze ran back to his position shaking his head. Eigtheenstars 2's Ignacio Valery played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikkel Wulff in the 46th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jose Atarratze to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Silvano Bazil notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Denmark's Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eigtheenstars 2's Jose Atarratze got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Denmark's Chris Nygaard in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Eigtheenstars 2's goalie prevented a goal. Jose Atarratze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keld Paulsen having to interfere. Jose Atarratze scored 3-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Keld Paulsen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 68th minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacio Valery saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Iker Loren fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eigtheenstars 2's protests and gave Iker Loren a yellow card for diving instead. Eigtheenstars 2 made a substitution. Denis Pierres replaced Federico Quinten. 78 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Silvano Bazil came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Atarratze in the 82nd minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Jose Atarratze made a precise shot to the right of Keld Paulsen. Denmark's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. In the 87th match minute, Eigtheenstars 2 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niguel Abasolo to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Bertram Svenningsen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ignacio Valery. That made the score 4-2 in the 94 minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Denmark players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Eigtheenstars 2.
