Bruno Africano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Henrich Slany when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Slovakia booed when Alvinegro Carioca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michel da Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Atak Sehriyar in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henrich Slany prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Alvinegro Carioca fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Alvinegro Carioca's Atak Sehriyar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Henrich Slany showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atak Sehriyar, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Bruno Africano's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Henrich Slany skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Bruno Africano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alvinegro Carioca's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruno Africano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henrich Slany breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Slovakia's Vít Biskup got a free kick in the 34th minute. Slovakia's Henrich Slany proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Slovakia from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd minute Atak Sehriyar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrich Slany saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Metod Mlynar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Baybars-Tolgahan Balta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Henrich Slany tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baybars-Tolgahan Balta scored 3-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henrich Slany, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Atak Sehriyar might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Henrich Slany. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Atak Sehriyar ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atak Sehriyar in the 58th minute of play forced Slovakia's goalkeeper Henrich Slany to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henrich Slany stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Africano's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute, Bruno Africano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Slovakia's Henrich Slany played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Africano in the 70th minute of play. Panos Lillis scored 4-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henrich Slany, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. But to his dismay, Atak Sehriyar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. 91 minutes into the game, Panos Lillis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Henrich Slany was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Alvinegro Carioca had played much better football throughout.
