Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) After 2 played minutes Croatia got a freekick which was hit by Silvije Santek. 4 minutes into the match, Edward Pierz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ilija Skugor. Croatia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edward Pierz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Dinko Stankovic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Toninho Cardozo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Damir Pongrac came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Croatia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damir Pongrac couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Kazimierz Madej kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ilija Skugor. That made the score 2-0 in the 12 minute of play. Toninho Cardozo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damir Pongrac, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. With a little luck, Croatia's Ilija Skugor got control of the ball when Kazimierz Madej tried to sneak it across the goal line. CRICIÚMA E.C.'s Kazimierz Madej got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Edward Pierz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ilija Skugor. The goal made the score 4-0. Ilija Skugor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Pierz in the 41st minute of play. With a little luck, Croatia's Ilija Skugor got control of the ball when Jaime Cordeiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Croatia booed when CRICIÚMA E.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandro Krieser didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ilija Skugor was a little too slow when Jaime Cordeiro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 5-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Toni Mauzer was the one to do the kick off. Ilija Skugor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kazimierz Madej, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After 59 minutes of play, CRICIÚMA E.C.'s Kazimierz Madej made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ilija Skugor was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 63rd minute, Kazimierz Madej left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CRICIÚMA E.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. 66 minutes into the match, Xandão Crouch notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Croatia's Ilija Skugor. Ilija Skugor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. CRICIÚMA E.C. made a substitution. Simão Sanches replaced Paolo Puyol. When Toni Mauzer fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Croatia's protests and gave Toni Mauzer a yellow card for diving instead. After 72 played minutes Croatia got a freekick which was hit by Toni Mauzer. Croatia's Ilija Skugor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Pierz in the 73rd minute of play. Ilija Skugor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Cordeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Cordeiro in the 77th minute of play forced Croatia's goalkeeper Ilija Skugor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edward Pierz scored 10-0 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ilija Skugor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Erik Kulaš's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ilija Skugor was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. A collision led to Croatia getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Patrik Terzic hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the match, Edward Pierz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ilija Skugor. Toni Mauzer struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Toninho Cardozo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Croatia.
