Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frank Sachs started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Knut Västerberg in the 8th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Knut Västerberg was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 10th minute. F.C Águias de Ouro's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 24th minute, F.C Águias de Ouro's Knut Västerberg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 27 played minutes F.C Águias de Ouro got a freekick which was hit by Özen Mukremin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Knut Västerberg in the 30th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of F.C Águias de Ouro booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Willy Stieler didn't get a good kick on the ball. F.C Águias de Ouro's Lauro Mangueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 33rd minute of play. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Jaap Hosson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chris Mergenthaler hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Knut Västerberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Knut Västerberg went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After having played for 55 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Knut Västerberg in the 61st minute of play. Alessandro Carvalho's late challenge caught a Germany's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alessandro Carvalho helped the player get up and apologised. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Knut Västerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 74th minute Albin Holweck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lauro Mangueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Sachs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lauro Mangueira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lauro Mangueira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albin Holweck in the 77th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Knut Västerberg in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Knut Västerberg in the 86th minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Chris Mergenthaler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C Águias de Ouro the free kick. Chris Mergenthaler kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
