Ibis Football Club's Acácio Vasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Nygaard in the 12th minute of play. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eurico Peixoto in the 15th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eurico Peixoto got free with Keld Paulsen in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Denmark's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Chris Nygaard in the 23rd minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ibis Football Club's goalie and right to Olav Graversen. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ibis Football Club's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After a rather tough play, Ibis Football Club's Jiang Xi Fei got a free kick in the 24th minute. Theis Winther kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After 29 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Theis Winther. Theis Winther hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. If Bertram Svenningsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, Ibis Football Club's Eurico Peixoto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Keld Paulsen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rachid Baba Ali Beckenbauer hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Theis Winther's late challenge caught a Ibis Football Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Theis Winther helped the player get up and apologised. Eurico Peixoto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eurico Peixoto, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. A sloppy throw-in by Olav Graversen in the 46th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Ibis Football Club's Emanuel Pernambucano. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 68th minute Eurico Peixoto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Bendtsen to maneuver through the defense. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eurico Peixoto in the 77th minute of the match. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Theis Winther hit a great ball. In the 79th minute, Eurico Peixoto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Amauri Lago in the 81st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Denmark's Theis Winther. When Eurico Peixoto came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Ibis Football Club fans jumped to their feet.
