Iordache Nedelcu hit a great ball. In the 38th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Voineag saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Voineag made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 41st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Dinamo Bucuresti 2023's zone, Gustaaf Groeneveldt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Voineag came out of the goal and Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Dinamo Bucuresti 2023 made a substitution. Nistor Bușcu replaced Manole Petruescu. FC Dinamo Bucuresti 2023's Ante Rebić was substituted for Eduard Sorin. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Dinamo Bucuresti 2023's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt scored to the left of an out of position Gabriel Voineag, making the score, 1-4. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dumitru Nica in the 80th minute of the match. Costel Stolnicu kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 91st minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Voineag saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
