In the 8th minute Metod Mlynar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fellipe de Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Metod Mlynar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fellipe de Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Metod Mlynar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henrich Slany showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Almir Antunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Vít Biskup made in the 43rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Squall FC's Emerson Montenegro. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

In the 79th minute, Chiquinho das Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leopoldo Sanches charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
