With his leg Fodor Daniel managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when Barrialito AFC's Fabricio Flores fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Hungary booed when Barrialito AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Montrel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Hegedus Henrik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Hegedus Henrik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulino Gaspard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 20th minute, Antal Valentin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Barrialito AFC's goalkeeper Paulino Gaspard, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Paulino Gaspard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Barrialito AFC's Arturo Montrel got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 40thth minute of the game Fabricio Flores who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Takacs Tibor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barrialito AFC's Paulino Gaspard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 44th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Hegedus Henrik struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Paulino Gaspard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 72nd minute Nereo Maju shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Paulino Gaspard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Takacs Tibor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulino Gaspard was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Hegedus Henrik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Gaspard having to interfere. 89 minutes into the game, Arturo Montrel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barrialito AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hungary the free kick. The supporters of Hungary booed when Barrialito AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Montrel didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Barrialito AFC's Paulino Gaspard got control of the ball when Major Barna tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Barrialito AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hungary were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
